Maintenance physiotherapy does not require veterinary referral, though your animal must be registered with a vet. Regular sessions help maintain peak condition and can extend your animal’s active years.
Post-Surgery & Injury Rehabilitation Physiotherapy
Rehabilitation physiotherapy helps horses and dogs recover from injury, surgery, or illness through structured, veterinary-supervised treatment plans. Working alongside your veterinary surgeon and care team, I provide specialised rehabilitation for:
- Post-operative recovery â cruciate ligament surgery, fracture repair, spinal surgery
- Injury rehabilitation â tendon and ligament injuries, muscle strains
- Neurological recovery â following nerve damage or spinal issues
- Chronic condition management â arthritis, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia

Each rehabilitation program is customised to your animal’s specific condition a Veterinary referral is required.

I’m Olivia Prior, a BSc (Hons) qualified veterinary physiotherapist based in Lancashire, passionate about helping horses and dogs live healthier, more comfortable lives. I specialize in rehabilitation physiotherapy and maintenance care for animals of all agesâwhether they’re recovering from injury or surgery, managing chronic conditions like arthritis or hip dysplasia, or simply needing support to move more comfortably as they age.
