Veterinary Physiotherapy
Maintenance and rehabilitation appointments use the same pricing structure. Each appointment includes assessment, appropriate treatment and advice tailored to the individual animal.
Canine Physiotherapy
Allow approximately 60–75 minutes for an initial canine appointment.

PLANNED TREATMENT COURSES
K-Laser therapy
K‑Laser may be included within a full physiotherapy appointment at no additional charge when clinically appropriate. Shorter laser-only appointments are available for a planned course or ongoing maintenance.
Veterinary referral or consent is required before K‑Laser treatment begins. New patients also require an initial physiotherapy assessment to confirm suitability and establish an appropriate treatment plan. OP Vet Physio can contact your veterinary practice to arrange consent where required.

New patients require a veterinary referral or consent and an initial physiotherapy assessment. The initial assessment will be charged at the standard canine or equine fee. The number and frequency of laser treatments are based on the animal’s clinical needs and response.
Block bookings must be paid for in full before or at the first appointment and are allocated to one animal. Six-session courses must normally be completed within 12 weeks, and ten-session courses within 20 weeks, unless a different treatment schedule has been agreed for clinical reasons.
Yes. A missed appointment or late cancellation may be deducted from the remaining block in accordance with the Terms of Service.
Unused sessions are non-refundable once a course begins, except where OP Vet Physio or the referring veterinary surgeon advises that continued treatment is no longer clinically appropriate. Any refund due is calculated after completed visits are charged at the single-session rate.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Travel charges kept simple
There is no additional travel charge within 17 miles of BB5. For appointments farther away, I will confirm the travel cost with you before booking.
Outside the included area
For appointments more than 17 miles from BB5, an additional travel charge will be quoted before booking. Travel is calculated from the OP Vet Physio base location.
Where a K‑Laser block booking is delivered outside the included travel area, the agreed travel charge applies to each visit unless a separate course travel fee has been agreed in advance.
Several animals at one yard
Where two or more animals are treated during the same visit, the travel cost may be shared between clients.

Areas covered
Mobile canine and equine physiotherapy is available across Lancashire, including Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley and surrounding areas. Selected appointments may also be available across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Yorkshire, subject to travel distance.
Payment & Insurance
Payment is due at the appointment unless a treatment block has been purchased in advance. BACS or cash on the day is preferred. Credit and debit card payments are also accepted.
Some pet insurance policies cover veterinary physiotherapy and laser therapy following injury or surgery. Please check your individual policy and obtain any necessary veterinary referral or pre-authorisation before treatment begins.
OP Vet Physio cannot guarantee that an insurer will reimburse treatment fees.

Cancellation charges apply to appointments changed at short notice. Please view the Terms of Service for further information.
